Summary
"My name is Mike." The boy spoke again, seemingly determined on introducing himself to Will.
"Michael Wheeler but you can call me Mike." He then held his hand out.
"May I?" He asked a permission to take Will's hand which are gripping the swings' chain handles.
Will who had no experiences on being approached by a kid his age decided to look at Mike-- trying to send a message from his eyes that are asking "Why?"
"I want to be friends with you," Mike understood him somehow and spilled out his intentions.
Having to feel this new feeling of warm and light, Will nervously and slowly unholds the handles to shake Mike's hand-- who then grabbed it to shake-- enthusiastically.
"Now we're friends! What's your name?"
This boy is weird for Will. But in the good way.
