Pei Ming only smirked, fingers sliding up to tilt Fu Yao’s chin and see more of that pretty glare that wavered every now and then by the proximity.
“Oh, deputy, I don’t just think it. I know it. And I know you’d like to surrender that control, even if you’ll never admit it.” His voice softened, dangerous in its certainty. “So let me show you how good it can feel to let go.”
“What? Are you gonna prove to me why they call you the God of Love?” Fu Yao managed to kid around.
“I’m here to prove to you why they should call me the God of Sex.”
Fu Yao swallowed, caught between defiance and something he couldn’t quite name. The air between them felt electric, and when Pei Ming’s thumb brushed the corner of his mouth, he finally exhaled, quiet and shaky.
