A Little Too Far From Home (DISCONTINUED)

Summary:

On opposite ends of portals lay two halves of a family.

At home dimension, Glameock Freddy tries to bring back his friends, though progress is slow if at all, Frankie tries to cope with the loss of his mom and brother, while Cassie has been quieter than ever...

Meanwhile, Roxxane, Baby and Gregory try to get themselves back home, with help of some new allies from this new realm, as new foes claw their ways into their lives...

Or a rewrite and/or continuation of the dimension arc from RWaGS/CBS mainly centering Frankie, Cassie and Gregory bcuz I like traumatized children lol

(Original idea by Dummy-Leif on Tumblr)

Discontinued cuz I quit the fandom

Notes:

Before you start, I should probably say I've never written anything before, and this first chapter is a little sloppy and way too short, and I might rewrite at some point. Life's a lil busy rn so updates will be very all over the place, but I really wanted to start this project and apparently Ao3 only keeps drafts for a month and I can't plan anything in advance bcuz I'm dumb :,)

Anygays, enough yapping, enjoy

Chapter 1: The Day it All Happened

Chapter Text

March 1st, 2025

Five minutes...

It was five minutes ago, when she was just walking into William's house. Five minutes before it all happened. She was just humming along (to the Baddest Clown in Town, of course) before she got his call. William, panicking for once in his life, going on about some insane power level reading thingymabobs or whatever.

One quick chat with Golden Freddy and his mystical unhelpfulness, and now, here she was. Standing in front of the blue tornado that used to be her portal with her two best friends.

God she wished she was still at that place she was five minutes ago, her biggest problem being that her favourite ice cream was out of stock.

Safe to say this was a way bigger problem...

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE HAVE TO GO INSIDE IT!?" Gregory yelled, maybe to be heard over the massive problem behind him, or maybe because she just told her to leave his life behind. Baby had a feeling it was the latter.

"That's what Golden said- or I guess implied?- Ugh, you know how he is all cryptic and stuff but that's beside the point."

Roxanne placed her hands on Gregory's shoulders, "Baby you know I trust your judgement with this, but I have to say that is a lot to ask for. " She said, way less terrified than Baby expected, surprisingly.

"I know, I know, trust me it's a lot for me, too, but..." She looked up at the blue swirl where her portal used to be, tears in her eyes that she wished she could say were from the wind, "We have to... I'm sure of that much."

"So what, we just walk into that- ah" Gregory gestured aggressively towards the blue tornado "that- the big blue light thingy"

"I guess"

They all went silent after that, silently staring at their fate, the deafening wind in their ears.

Gregory sighed "Okay then," his shoulders slumped, clearly tired of arguing.

"I guess were going in"
