Chapter 1: A/N
Chapter Text
Hi Hi! This is going to be my first fic. Let’s get some basics down. This is probably going to be filled with headcannons, OOC, and general foolery. Not every character will be in every chapter/viewing room, only the ones who are relevant to the current AU. Might be cringe, but idc. Most of these AU’s are probably made by me, but I’ll let you know if not. I currently have ideas for MHA, High School, Haikyuu, Demon Slayer, College, and Steven Universe. I will accept requests if it’s a fandom I know. (I might also do a ZZZ AU)
I’ll try to update at least once a month, but I might not have the time.
See you in the first chapter!
Chapter Text
Albedo blinked awake, his mind hazy and his ears feeling underwater. Strange. He was usually much more…alert than this when he woke up in the morning. In fact, the whole situation felt strange. The light hitting his face was much brighter than the natural light of the sun, and he was laid on something hard, and cold. The latter thing in particular wasn’t odd, he often fell asleep at his desk or on a bench in one of his labs, but he could tell this wasn’t that.
After a few minutes(a few minutes too long in his opinion), he managed to come to enough to open his eyes fully and sit up. He was in a large room, red floors, black walls, iridescent lights, and velvet couches.
And many, many other people laying around the room. Some on the chairs, but most on the floor.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted her. Klee.
Albedo stood, stepping over others to reach her. He lifted her small body into his arms, checking her over for any injuries. Better to be safe than sorry. He breathed out a soft, quiet sigh of relief. She was okay, no injuries and sleeping soundly in her pajamas. Good.
He gently placed her on a couch, next to another little girl clutching a plush bunny with a radish, then went around the room, finding and waking the other knights, Master Diluc, and Venti. They gathered in a circle near the couch he’d placed Klee on.
They were all in pajamas. Jean looked like she didn’t want to be here, Lisa was clearly pissed her beauty sleep had been interupted, and Keaya and Diluc were…Kaeya and Diluc. Amber and Eula were too half asleep to give a damn.
“Hmm…” Jean hummed, pulling her hair back into her signature pony tail. “This is a very…strange situation. Does anyone remember anything particularly strange before going to bed?”
Lisa scowled, running a hand through her hair and adjusting her nightgown. Not that it was covering much either way. “No, dear Jean, if something strange was happening, don’t you think I would have mentioned it to you? Or at least have noticed.”
Kaeya smirked, “Oh my, it seems that our resident librarian is quite cranky without her beauty sleep, hm~”
“I think it best we refrain from teasing Miss Lisa, Cavalry Captain” Diluc said, arms crossed over his chest. “Unless you’d enjoy being on the wrong side of her attitude?”
Jean rubbed her temples. “Ugh, this is getting us nowhere.” Just then, Venti approached them. Oh. Albedo had completely forgotten that Jean had sent the bard to check for exits. “Well, Master Jean, I regret to inform you that there are no exits to this room. At least none that we can access.” the bard said, yawning and leaning against Diluc, who pushed him off.
Jean sighed again(Albedo had a feeling she would be doing a lot of that in the next few hours), and said, “Well, since there’s no way out, there’s not much else for us to do but wait for everyone else to wake.”
So they did.

At the sound of muffled voices, Xiao woke with a start, instinctively reaching for his polearm, only for it to not be there.
He was in a strange room with red flooring and black walls. There were people sleeping around him, many still in pajamas as if taken straight from their homes. As he looked around, he spotted the noise that had woken him.
A group of people near the edge of the room. Aether and Paimon he recognized, the others not so much. A blonde woman was curled up in the arms of a tan brunette wearing a…less than appropriate outfit. A shorter brunette in red was chattering away to an elegant woman with teal hair.
Barbatos, a pink haired man, and a blue haired man were pestering a clearly fed up redhead(Xiao kinda felt bad for him. He’d seen firsthand how annoying the Anemo Archon could be). And…on the couch was a pale skinned man with pale blonde hair, clearly half-asleep, holding a little girl who looked similar on his lap.
If Xiao let his eyes linger on the man for a little longer than necessary, only he would ever have to know.

It took hours for everyone to wake up, but once they did Aether gently shook his boyfriend awake. “Bedo…you gotta get up, babe…”
Albedo pouted, but Aether didn’t let up. “C’mon…everyone’s awake. We’re trying to figure this place out.”
Eventually, Albedo relented and opened his eyes. “Mmm…ugh, why can’t I have one normal week?” Aether chuckled. “No rest for the wicked.” Albedo pouted, but let Aether guide him to where everyone else had gathered near the front of the room, where there was a TV(Aether had had to explain what it was to then, considering Teyvat didn’t have that technology yet).
“So let’s get this straight, everyone in this room is a vision holder, correct?” Alhaitham said from where he was standing next to Nahida. His pajamas looked exactly like Aether expected them to, a simple pair of shorts and a baggy t-shirt. This was definitely a serious situation, Aether couldn’t take it seriously, seeing everyone so disheveled. Some of the guys weren’t even wearing shirts.
Aether rested his arm on Albedo’s shoulder, using the shorter man like an armrest.
The conversation continued until there was no more information to get. Mavuika sighed. “Well, I doubt this is the work of the Abyss, it seems too sophisticated for them. And I doubt it’s the Fatui, as two of their Harbingers are stuck here with us.
Arlecchino nodded. “Affirmitave. Tartaglia and I are two of the Tsaritsa’s most trusted. It’s very rare that she plan something to this scale without informing her Harbingers.”
Jean spoke up. “Well, this is getting nowhere. All we know is that we all went to sleep and woke up here without our visions. There’s no way out of this room, and it’s clearly a serious situation if even our archons have been abducted and involved.”
“Oh! You’re all finally awake, Good Morning!” a young voice called. On instinct, they all reached for weapons that weren’t there. “Oh, no need to be alarmed, I’m your friend. My name is Lunar. You are all here for a very important reason and I need you to listen to me or you may not make it out alive.”
All talking stopped. A door opened to the side of the theater. Out walked a young woman with mocha brown skin, green-blue eyes and long black hair tinged with pink. As she smiled, they caught a glimpse of sharp fangs. She was in a black and white lace corset with a white and pink skirt that touched the floor. Aether would be lying if he said she wasn’t beautiful. His Albedo was just more beautiful.
“Hello, people of Teyvat, and welcome to the Theater Room. This is where you will be for the foreseeable future. I am Lunar, your host.”
Mavuika stepped forward. “What is the meaning of this?”
Lunar smiled. “I am a member of the MAC. Multiverse Anomaly Containment. Teyvat is not the only Universe out there, and this” she gestures to them. “Is not the only version of Teyvat that exists. As I’m sure one of you is well aware of.” They all knew she was referencing Aether.
“Recently, there has been a large disturbance in the Multiverse surrounding Teyvat. So I have been tasked with finding the anomaly and getting rid of it.”
“What does that have to do with us?” Lisa hummed from her spot on a couch.
Lunar smirked. “Well, I figured the best people to point out an anomaly would be the people in the universes, no? It’s simple. If you see someone, or something you think feels out of place, let me know and I’ll investigate. Then I’ll let you know if you were right. But not every universe may have an anomaly. It’s likely that we’ll go through many before we find it. And it’s not like I’m giving you a choice. Any objections?”
Aether looked around. She was right. There was no way for them to get out of this ‘Theater Room’. The door she had opened to get had closed right behind her, leaving them sealed in once more. They had no choice but to do as she pleased.
At the room's silence, Lunar clasped her hands together. “Good.” she snapped twice and 6 doors appeared, each one bearing the mark of an element. “Mondstadt goes through the Anemo door, Liyue and Tartaglia go through the Geo door and so on. You will all have common areas and then your own rooms with your names on your doors. Run along. Freshen up. Those of you to view the first universe will be summoned in 1 hour.”
Notes:
And there’s chapter one! I know it’s kinda short(and probably a little rushed at the end), but the chapters with the universes are probably gonna be waaaay longer.
