Etho had just left his house to go to his office, his usual tired looks and black mask on his face, his hybrid features partially hidden as people tended to harras him a lot more when he had nine tails instead of one. When he arrived at the office there was a coffe waiting for him, which was weird to see. "Is my boss trying to brive me with coffe?" Etho thought before sitting down on his desk and getting started with some paperwork. "What even are these cases?!" Etho thought as he read all the documents on his desk, he sighed and took a sip of the coffee.
Then, his boss came unanounced trough the door. "Etho!! My boy, I have a new work for you!" his boss said, his irritable voice sounding way worse now. Etho sighed, before looking at his boss and asking with a deadpan look on his face. "What kind of Job?". "Im glad you asked!! Well, I need you to be the boss of four college seniors, untill the end of their school year!" His boss said, a smirk on his face. Etho's eyes widdened "Me? are you sure? i would be only... two years older than them or so." Etho said, sounding and looking very confused. "That's why! you'll get along with them easily" The boss said, leaning on the door. "What the fuck is he on? And where does he get it?" Etho thought before speaking. "And just to make sure, how old are they?". "Oh, three of them are 22 and one of them is 23!" His boss said. Etho sighed again and nodded "Alright, i accept the task, but just to be clear, you'll pay me extra right?". "yeah, yeah, we'll pay you extra." The boss scoffed before speaking again "And they'll be here in an hour or so! Goodbye and good luck!" With that the boss left. "Huh, an hour?- and he's gone... i hate him" Etho mumbled before taking another sip of his coffee, wich was now cold.
"Why is she so obssesed with this coffe shop?!" Joel said, his tail thumping aganist the floor. "Don't you know? Her cute zombie crush works here" Martyn chuckled while rolling his eyes. "Leave her alone Martyn, as if you don't go to the art room in campus everyday just to see Ren" Gem said, while poking the blond's arm. Martyn rolled his eyes again, and gem chuckled.
Just then, the door of the coffe shop opened and Lizzie came out of it, sipping her bubble tea before speaking "Sorry for taking too long! Cleo was telling me some gossip she heard from one of the customers" she chuckled. "Alright, we get it you're so deeply in love with them, now let's get going... We're gonna be late" Joel said before turning around ready to start walking. "You never care about being late to places, you just want to see your celebrity crush!" Gem said, knowing that would piss her brother off. "That's not- I just want to be early to our first job!!" Joel said, clearly embarrased. "Alright guys, leat get going or Etho will never fall inlove with Joel!" Martyn said in a mocking tone. "Im going to kill you two..." Joel mumbled as he looked to the other way, while Gem and Martyn chuckled. Lizzie took another sip of her bubble tea. "Lets's just go, I geniuely don't want to be late."
With that they started walking towards the offices where Etho worked. They arrived pretty quickly (pretty quickly meaning in 45 minutes). "so, what floor it was?..." Lizzie asked. "It was the fourth floor, and the third office" Joel said. "How do you even rememer that?" Martyn asked. "His crush works here, he's obviously gonna know" Lizzie whispered. Joel shushed them both before walking into the elevator. When they arrived at the floor they noticed how fancy everything looked. "Damn, everyone here must me loaded" Martyn whispered.
