Chapter Text
Ten till midday. Just enough time to mess around before it arrives… That’s what the problematic girl who destiny called Elizabeth Wright Pereira, but commodity turned into Liz for short, thought to herself after noticing it would be ten minutes until her bus arrived. But just as she opens the Docs app, she feels her leg being struck by what she notices to be a jarritos can. Suddenly, she feels not a physical, but mental inertia break, as she loses focus on what she was going to write to see who kicked the can into her leg. Ironic, as what she hears calls her attention first, before her eyes can focus on the person.
- Shit! Lost my can.
(Excuse me?! Why did you “lose” it?)
Liz just heard some hobo woman whispering to herself about “losing” this trash she just kicked in her leg. (Can’t she just come and take it?) Feeling a little confused, she drags the small can in the ground with her feet near to the hobo woman, a small girl in size but clearly above twenty, with one pimple in each cheeky of her pale face and short messy hair, only noteworthy by one mech of hair painted blue. She is also wearing a coat and shorts.
- Hey girlie. I see you kicked your, uh, football can. Here you go!
Liz does a weak sideway kick to the can. The girl tries to ignore and closes her hoodie.
(OOH! She is just shy. How kawaii!!!)
Feeling empathy towards the unassuming woman she decides to do some small talk.
- Do you like yaoi? - Well, small for her.
The woman opens her hoodie and reveals her face of disbelief, expecting to be intimidating. However, she is met with a warm and wide smile from Liz. Feeling her stomach a little gross from her lack of reaction, she decides to close her hoodie again.
- Come here my little friend. Don’t be afraid.
Something about what Liz said struck a cord with that unobtrusive woman, opening her hoodie with blood pumping furiously.
- Listen! I don’t want to talk with anyone! And I certainly don’t need to be treated like a child!
- Sorry little- I mean!
The adult woman she’s speaking with frowns angrily. Liz restarts.
- I meant, “bestie”!
Surprisingly, for Liz at least, this does not please the woman at her side, who throws her head back and sighs loudly. Liz becomes anxious;
- Look bestie, I’m just a big weaboo! You don’t need to be shy around me!
- You don’t say so.
- I DO say! Look, I have been writing this fanfic whenever I have the chance, in fact I was just about to open it before you kicked me with that pesky can.
- Hey! It was my personal kicking can I found some minutes ago!
- And still is! I gave it back to you.
So annoyed by the insistence from Liz, the apoplectic woman kicks the can again, almost going to the street. Liz sighs;
- You could at least throw in a trash can.
- Well, I don’t see any near me, and I won’t carry a can I found on the floor around.
- I’m pretty sure there’s a trash can in the printing store right here.
- Naah. I won’t enter a place full of people just to check if there’s a trash can.
- You really are shy aren’t you?
- That ain’t the issue! I just don’t want to-
And as she says those words, the bus appears, turning to their street.
- Finally! - Finally!
The two look at each other. Liz smiles, while her bestie frowns. The small woman gives two steps forward before stopping, giving a second, a saying;
- Ladies first.
- Aww, you are so kind! You know what? I already like you bestie!
- Please don’t say that…
