It was – it was bound to happen at some point. Denji’s fairly good-looking despite his often shaggy appearance, Aki’s not blind. It was inevitable that a girl would take a look at him and see past the blunt demeanor and the sweaty disposition, and give him a chance. That someone would come along and pick him up off the side of the road and attempt to give him a new shine. Which doesn’t explain why Aki feels sick all of a sudden.
