   Summary

   After setting fire to the morgue, Victor goes to bed, relieved that a torrential downpour is putting out the fire for him! However, he is awakened in the middle of the night by the creature's incessant cries and must resolve to extract the monster from its prison. He decides to install it in the room next to his and discovers that the creature is not as stupid as he imagined...

   TW: This is my first attempt at writing fanfiction for this fandom 😃. It's not a romance with Elizabeth, and definitely not a slash with Victor! It's a fix-it fic about the Victor/Adam relationship that takes place before the scene where the Frankenstein tower explodes. Victor is... Well, he's Victor at the beginning, that abusive jerk, but he'll evolve, alongside Adam's character. There will be physical and psychological violence, at least in the first few chapters, so feel free to skip this story if that triggers you!
