"Wanna go out?" N texted Volo on his cellular device, expecting an instant response.
"I'm busy but I probably can make room for that." Volo contemplated responding with that, trying to convince himself more than anyone he didn't like N.
"See you later then!" N left it at that, completely forgetting to ask for time, location or anything really.
Volo stared at the text, wondering if he could just bail and have N waiting for him when in reality he's preforming a cult like ritual to Arceus.
N waited, and waited, and waited until... Nothing, nothing happened. He waited for nothing. So he texted Volo again.
"Where are you?"
"You wanna meet up now?"
"Thought you knew."
"How would I?"
N left it at that, expecting Volo to show up eventually. Maybe they'd kiss again, maybe he'd stay over like last time. And maybe more..? Same as last time again.
"Where?"
"My house."
"👍"
Volo was already dressed so all he could do was make his way to Unova because N would spam his cellular device if he didn't.
After a good 3 years Volo arrived and N greeted him warmly, waiting for him to step inside.
"Come in." N welcomed Volo, pointing towards the inside of his house.
Volo stepped in and took off his shoes.
"What do you wanna do?" N asked, hoping they'd at least get to hold hands.
"I dunno, got any ideas?" Volo asked, he wasn't going to do a god summoning ritual in his autistic very amazing totally platonic friend's house.
"Me neither." N shrugged as he grabbed Volo's hands and led him to his room.
Inside N's room, Volo thought it was the perfect opportunity to kiss him because of course, why wouldn't that be the best chance to do so?
N seemed shocked but couldn't complain since that was what he'd been hoping would happen all day and it finally did.
"So... Wanna make out?"
N's straightforwardness seemed to shock Volo but he couldn't say no.
"Sure, I guess..." Volo definitely really wanted to but letting N realise he was excited would low-key ruin everything Volo had built this "frienship" on.
They made out, N still convinced Volo to stay the night and they watched movies.
