is there a difference?
i'd like that
to sing the words which have taken me by the neck
sounds like satiation
but even if i could find the right things to say
i'd struggle with the arrangement
delicate, they are
in perfect order, but not addictingly
from the place it falls
into place
shattering on the floor
i guess i'll stick to laying in bed
and dreaming of the inflection in my voice that i would use when i sang the right hertz
perfectly in order
and this time
it would be enchanting
enough to break through my resistance
i want to be not just drunk, but wasted
then i will pity what i lost
