    Summary

    So, "Day Break Illusion"/"Il sole penetra le illusioni"/"Genei Wo Kakeru Taiyou", an anime with great ideas, but mainly associated with being a "Madoka clone" (even though they have a different tone and aesthetic), and it had its era of recognition, but the fandom is, I'd say, in a vegetative state.

    Despite this, it has quite a lot of extra material. Aside from anime, they have light novels, manga, and even a radio drama (sadly, many of these are lost media I recovered thanks to Asian forums).

    I absorbed everything and thought, "Why not try writing some fan fiction?" Given that there are a lot of plot holes and flaws, I decided to write a lore book of sorts that would explain everything, at least according to my headcanons, and provide a solid worldbuild for if any future works of mine. Considering that the lore of this anime is based on the Tarot, Kabbalah, and Rosicrucian elements, my cultural studies won't be wasted.

    The story is in a form of research journal of Hajime Takatori (father of anime's main character, Akari) which Akari finds in "Messiah of Illusion" novel. I decided to expand on it. Imagine Journal 3 from "Gravity Falls" but... from an edgy mahou-shoujo.

    I hope someone reads it.
