   Summary

   At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers did not plan on staying in the past to marry Peggy Carter. Peggy had her life now, and Steve only wanted to see her safe and happy. Instead, he had a more selfish goal. He stayed to see Howard Stark’s son get born. He needed to apologize to Tony. For not trusting him. For Civil War. For everything before and everything afterwards. So he stayed.
