Summary
Mother Maiden blessed, Madam Mortality stole away.
And Midoriya Izuku fell in love.
Love had red eyes, blond hair, and paraded around with a sarcastic bend to his smile. He wore his smirk and confidence like the finest of fabrics, only to be shed in the presence of a select few.
They’d been the definition of a fairytale romance. They met as babes, pushed one another off of snowy embankments, even broke their first bones together. Never in their lives had it not been Kacchan and Izuku.
And… that wasn’t entirely the whole truth.
Or: Izuku is saved from death by a Deity, but not all is as it seems. Requiring sacrifices to keep his new healing powers strong over the centuries, he encounters the reincarnations of his first love, only for him to disappear once more before he turns twenty. Eventually, Izuku learns the truth behind the sacrifices, separates the lies from the truths, and the two find the answer to end their seemingly endless cycle of separation.
