Himiko looks at the burn on Izuku’s shoulders with a frown. “Did he do it again?” She asks, and Izuku looks away. It’s answer enough.
“If he continues to mess with you,” Himiko says, “I can kill him.”
Izuku’s heart stops, then quickens. A beat missed.
It shouldn’t be flattering. It definitely shouldn’t be flattering. But, to hear Himiko would go so far...
There must be something wrong with Izuku. He shakes his head. Heroes don’t think like this; they definitely don’t blush at a friend saying they’d kill another.
“You shouldn’t kill people,” Izuku mutters unconvincingly, “You’ll get in trouble.”
Himiko’s eyes light up. “Aw, my Izu-chan is looking out for me! Don’t worry, I won’t get caught.”
“You still shouldn’t do it,” Izuku looks away, “It’s wrong. I don’t want Kacchan to die.”
Himiko pauses, then pouts. “Fine,” she mutters, “But only because my Izu-chan said so.”
