Celine takes care of a young, sick Rumi

Work Text:

Celine sighed as she saw Rumi still lying in bed into the afternoon.

"Get up" she said sternly. Rumi groaned and didn't comply. Celine frowned.

Rumi always listened.

"What is going on?" the woman questioned as she approached the child, her voice a mix of concern and annoyance.

She set the back of her hand against Rumi's forehead and quickly retracted it. The girl was scorching.

Celine sighed. Okay.

She wordlessly left the room, then returned a few minutes later with a cool, damp cloth, which she put on the young girl's forehead.

She never wanted to be a parent, but here she was, being a parent anyways.

This better be worth it...
