found in time and found in space (and meaning?)

Work Text:

The TARDIS doors opened just as the castle achieved liftoff.

“Well,” the Doctor remarked to nobody in particular, staring up after the rapidly dwindling Frankenstein Place, “I guess that problem took care of itself. Makes for a nice change. Though I was hoping to dance the Time Warp again.”

He turned to go — then paused, looking around at the three humans gasping and crawling through the lingering smoke.

A woman, scantily dressed and looking disoriented. A man, equally dazed and equally undressed. Another man, groaning among the remnants of a broken wheelchair.

The Doctor strolled forward. “Anyone need a lift?”

Notes:

Couldn’t resist the concept of this crossover.

…One might even call it a science fiction double feature! :-)
