Nat stretches like a cat and sighs happily before rolling towards the center of the huge bed, arm outstretched to pull one of the many luxuriously fluffy pillows NuNew has against his body, Nat wrapping around it.
It's not surprising for his next deep inhalation to bring Nat a lung full of NuNew's scent, but it's a welcome thrill all the same. Nat breathes in against the soft, pearl-colored pillowcase that's redolent with NuNew's fragrance: the almond blossom in his shampoo, and the notes of rose and vanilla and something crisp and freshly green from his perfume. Beyond that is just what NuNew naturally smells like, the beautiful scent that clings to his skin when he's clean and not wearing anything at all.
Nat inhales deeply again, can practically taste that same soft skin against his tongue if he imagines it hard enough. He makes a noise muffled by the pillow; while both Nat and NuNew had been content to just kiss and cuddle last night, each of them exhausted from busy work schedules, Nat is well rested now.
