Summary
Robby is loath to admit it, but having Dennis this close does cause a slight bit of relief in the heat. At least, to the bitchy part of his omega brain that wants an alpha to protect him to some degree. Typically the thought has Robby recoiling, a bitter sense of pride that he refuses to let go of.
Maybe that’s why he still struggles with the fact that he’s really allowing himself to go through with this. As if it’s a slight against his own self control and ability to handle his own problems.
It may just be the heat whining in the back of his head, but the thought of letting Dennis into his nest isn’t quite as terrifying as he thought.
