Chapter Text
Rain drummed lazily against the windows of the dorm, turning the whole world a gentle shade of gray. Inside, the living room glowed warm, filled with the scent of something sweet brewing in the kitchen.
Taesan sprawled across the couch, hood pulled low, sketchbook propped against his bent knees. The pencil tapped rhythmically—tap, tap, tap—until he paused, looked at his paper, and made an annoyed little noise.
He would’ve kept brooding, but soft footsteps approached.
“Hyuuuuuung,” Woonhak called out with a sing-song voice. “I made hot chocolate.”
Taesan didn’t look up.
But he smiled. Only a little.
“Woonagi,” he said, dragging out the nickname, “you can’t bribe me with sugar.”
“I can,” Woonhak said, plopping down on the floor beside the couch. “And I have.”
He held up a mug overflowing with tiny marshmallows. Taesan raised an eyebrow.
“You put too many,” he said.
“You literally said yesterday, ‘Woonagi, put more marshmallows next time.’”
Taesan tilted his head, pretending to think. “I don’t remember.”
“You definitely said it!”
“Hm… are you sure?” Taesan’s tone was light, teasing, dangerous. He poked Woonhak’s cheek with the eraser end of his pencil. “Maybe you dreamed about me again.”
Woonhak’s brain short-circuited. “I— Huh?! I don’t— That didn’t—”
Taesan smirked like someone who had just set a trap and watched it spring perfectly.
“You’re cute when you panic,” he said casually, going back to his sketch like he hadn’t just emotionally destroyed the maknae.
Woonhak sputtered silently for a while before remembering the hot chocolate.
“Anyway,” he huffed, shoving the mug into Taesan’s hands, “drink this.”
“Yes, Woonagi.”
“Stop calling me that.”
“No.”
Taesan took a slow sip, eyes closing with a tiny, content sound that made Woonhak melt a little.
Then Taesan rotated the mug and held it out to Woonhak.
“Here. Sip.”
“Why?” Woonhak asked suspiciously.
“Just do it.”
Woonhak leaned forward—and Taesan deliberately tilted the mug so he’d drink from the exact same spot Taesan’s lips had touched.
Woonhak nearly choked.
“Hyung!”
Taesan blinked innocently. “What? Do you not like sharing with me?”
“That’s not the point!”
“Then what is the point?”
Woonhak opened his mouth. Closed it. Gave up.
Taesan gave a tiny victorious smile.
