    Will Byers had always loved Mike Wheeler, for as long as he can remember.

    He liked to think that maybe that day Mike came up to him on the swing set in kindergarten and asked to be his friend, he loved him then too.

    Which explains why Will is currently crying in Mike Wheeler’s basement at 1 AM trying not to wake anyone up.
