Summary
Blüdhaven was going through a rough patch with a lot of villains deciding to settle down there instead of Gotham. Shocker. No seriously, shocker. It was really strange and Dick has been stressed out of his mind trying to figure out if there's some sort of big deal going on. First, it was Black Mask, then Joker. And some other not super important villains but still villains also seemed to migrate over to his city.
It was starting to piss him off.
That reached a boiling point when Bruce, in his subtle ways, helped. (Because he's emotionally repressed but not an asshole.) By expanding his patrol route a bit into Blüdhaven, not enough to completely intersect Dick’s but enough so Bruce could help where he could. And it's not like this was randomly prompted because Bruce found out somehow, no. It's because Dick had been complaining to him about everything and he guessed Bruce wanted to help his way.
But Dick, being stressed and mad and just emotional for no reason.
Had gotten mad.
Really mad.
And took it all out on Bruce,
His guardian.
His father.
