Hawks leg bounces with anxiety as he sits in the waiting room, he ignores the other civilians who weren't even hiding the fact that they were recording him.
He wiped the tears that rudely escape his eyes without permission. 'fuck I'm so weak, how can I be the fastest hero in Japan when I wasn't quick enough to get to him, it should've been me, it should've been me, it should-' the negative thoughts were interrupted by a soft kiss on his cheek.
He whipped his head around ready to lash out at the perv but his anger left immediately when he seen who it was.
A child, no older then 3 was sitting next to him, innocent. "Mama gives me kisses when I is sad" she exclaimed, she looked like the human version of an albino rabbit, but with purple eyes.
"Well I appreciate it little eyas but I'm sure your mother doesn't want you kissing strangers" he replied, his voice was soft and father like. Suddenly he wanted to abandon everything and raise this child as if she were his own. Damn instincts.
The child seemed to not quite grasp the concept of stranger danger, because instead of leaving she crawls onto his lap.
"Kid-" he was about to protest when suddenly the mother comes over.
The middle-aged woman was vocalizing nonverbal noises, while using her hands to communicate, thanks to tokoyami he was immediately able to recognize the hand signs as ASL.
"TAURUS I TELL-YOU NOT ROAM AROUND
WHAT I SAY ABOUT BOUNDARY WHY YOU NOT LISTEN ME" the mother was signing rapidly, he couldn't really keep up but her expressions told him that she was scolding the child.
"SORRY MOTHER
HE LOOK SAD
I WANT HELP HIM SAME-AS YOU HELP ME WHEN ME SAD" the child signed back with efficiency.
The mothers expression shifted to a more calm one. She couldn't stay mad at her baby. She walked over and hoisted her child up taking her back to the child area.
Hawks smiled softly, the child sure did cheer him up, but it didn't take long for the anxiety to return. But before he could go back to dwelling a doctor walked up to him. He could tell immediately that the doctor was afraid but it was more of a something he seen kinda fear and not the fear of having to tell a pro hero potentially bad news.
"I u-uhm I the rest results came back, your intern is physically okay" the doctor paused, there was more to it. There had to be a something else. The doctor was to afraid-to hesitant.
"Go on" hawks insisted.
"The quirk is called arachnophobia, the person hit with this quirk will have spiders constantly on them, and crawling out of orphasis on their body, but they are more of a very very realistic hallucination so they won't cause any physical effects" the doctor rambled quickly, it was clear that the doctor was afraid of spiders and wanted to get all the information out as fast as possible so he could get as far away from the spider covered teen as he could.
Hawks mood lightened a little. "The kid loves spiders" he commented. Before asking to see his intern.
"Yes, actually since there is nothing physically wrong with him and he clearly doesn't seem to bothered about the spiders he is allowed to leave" the doctor almost sounded like he was insisting that hawks should take the kid and go.
Hawks scoffed amusingly and left to take the UA student back to UA.

Lida was filling the class in on the lesson plan and what they would be doing for the week when suddenly aizawa runs in and tries to close the door but tokoyami had put his fingers in the way so he couldn't.
"PROBLEM CHILD YOU STOP" aizawa looked terrified and that in itself was terrifying.
Lida turns to aizawa he looked confused and scared. "Sensei what's going on" he asked, his voice steady and authoritative.
"Tokoyami was hit with a quirk and now he's-" aizawa is cut off by his own scream as he quite literally jumps onto his desk. "YOU STAY THE FUCK AWAY" the teacher yelled.
He didn't care how stupid he looked to the students, he was focused on tokoyami. The little shit was taking advantage of his fear.
"Remember when you deliberately paired me with bakugou? I told you I was gonna get you back for it" tokoyami grinned like a maniac. The fucker was having the best time of his life.
"Bakugou took your crystals by the way" aizawa knew it was a bitch move, bakugou didn't take anything he just needed to distract the psycho so he could run out.
His plan worked, until fucking hawks him down by tripping him with a feather. "hawks I'ma fuck you up " aizawa threatened and then run into nedzu's office.
The other heroes where already there, "you all are immature as fuck" aizawa insulted, the fuckers knew about this and let tokoyami make him look like a damn fool.

The class sits in silence as they process what happened.
"D-did tokoyami kun actually manage to scare sensei?" Midoriya stammered, his eyes wide with worry and shock.
"Yeah I think he did" shoto answered back, with a similar expression.
Bakugou lets out a laugh. "Damn I didn't know chicken shit was like that fr" bakugou yelled out. Unlike the others who were shocked or worried he was impressed.
"Would that be considered manly or disrespectful?" Kaminari muttered to kirishima, who just replied with a simple 'mhm'.
After about 30 minutes tokoyami comes back and aizawa followed but stayed far back. "Go to you seat" aizawa instructed. Tokoyami smirked, bucked at him and laughed when aizawa flinched.
Hawks then walks into the classroom. "Wait don't expell him I told him to do that" hawks protested. He was about to leave but then remembered what he actually wanted. "I just found out endeavor also has arachnophobia, oh and the reason why your class can't see it is because it only affects people with SEVERE arachnophobia" hawks explained as he grabbed tokoyami and left.

Tokoyami had a blast, scaring damn near every hero he could find that had arachnophobia and by the end of the day he was worn out.
That whole week aizawa spent hours trying to figure out what tokoyami's biggest fear was. There was no way he was gonna just let his problem child get away with embarrassing him like that.

The next week aizawa found someone with a similar quirk tokoyami was hit with, but instead of it being spiders....it was butterflies and better yet these ones.were real.
Long story short tokoyami threw himself down a flight of stairs to get away, he ended up spraining his ankle and getting a small concussion. But aizawa didn't regret it...well only a little
