Pre-Notes:
yea so this is my Stranger Things x FNAF AU! I have had this idea in my head since about 2023 but after seeing videos about it on tiktok, my Stranger Things AND FNAF fixations simultaneously coming back, and playing frantic fanfic (highly recommend) with my friends, I decided to finally write it. I chose to write about specifically Jonathan and Nancy because they are my favorites and I feel like them being a reporter duo would work the best with the FNAF storyline (and I really don't want to write about the adults). Next, I am going to list a few details and canon divergencies to look out for to prevent confusion.
This fic takes place between season 2 and 3, although you can probably tell from the date
The events with Freddy’s do not line up with this fic, I changed the dates to better line up with Jonathan and Nancy’s relationship. If i had kept it canon, Jonathan would be either in CA or i would have to write a whole lotta extra stuff along with AU so i just decided to write this during the peak beginning of their relationship so I can (possibly) also write some tension.
Henry Emily AND William Afton will most likely be in this fic, I have not actually rewatched the lore (matpat ily) as of now but I am actually going to before I write further chapters so stuff is VERY subject to change.
There will be NO sexual content whatsoever in this fic. I am asexual and also don't even know how to write it and it makes me uncomfy so I'm not even gonna bother.
The younger boys will be in this fic at some point possibly
