Since the age of 4, Alexandre-Laurent Escoffier had loved the game of hockey. All he talked or thought about had to have something to do with hockey. 14 years later, sitting in a cramped arena in a state he can’t even pronounce in between his mother and father, he still couldn’t believe how he ended up at that point.

Alexandre stood up, hugged his mom, ignored a stifled nod from his dad, and went up to the stage. That was it. Everything he had ever worked for had payed off, leading up to this very moment.
