    The first thing Tommy notices about Evan Buckley is sparkling blue eyes. The second thing he notices is how solid the other feels in that brief second they came in contact with each other as Tommy slammed him into the boards. The third is how much of an annoying brat the kid is.

    Tommy is going into his 15th season in the NHL already feeling like older than he actually is, and in comes this year’s number 2 pick making him feel both ancient and full of renewed vigor. It wouldn’t be much of a stretch to say that Tommy had an instant dislike for the Ducks’ new rookie; cocky, mouthy, loud, and has an uncanny ability to dig right under his skin and set up permanent residence, whether Tommy wanted it or not.

    Evan Buckley is everything Tommy Kinard hates (and can’t get enough of).
