The Byers are currently living with the Wheelers and if he was ten, eleven or thirteen, Will would have been on cloud nine because of that fact.
Living with his best friend. With Mike.
Though now he can’t remember the last time he had a proper and honest conversation with his forever-lasting-best friend Mike, who has unsuccessfully been trying to reach out for him for many weeks now. He can’t remember the exact moment, when lying to Mike became an integral part of their communication. But he can clearly remember the exact very words he said about the day Will went missing, claiming it the beginning of his life because he met the love of his life.
Breaking Will once and for all.
Instead of being reached by the love of his life, Will is being reached by raw nightmares, panic attacks and merciless thoughts about his own misery.
