“What does Draxum want us to find again?”, Raph asked as he moved some rubble off the floor.
“Again,He wants us to get his old lab notes.”,Donnie replies as he flies down.
“How are we supposed to find anything in this mess? It literally exploded twice.”, Leo asked as he kicked some rocks around.
“He said he moved them back to his room to avoid them getting stolen.”, Donnie replies.
“Oh that's such a relief.”, Leo sighed.
Leo walked out first. Mikey and Donnie followed him. Raph looked around as he followed. It was dark and dusty in the hallway. It was the first look they really got at Draxum’s castle that wasn’t his lab.
“Where is his room anyways?”,Leo asked
“Yea,I can barely see in here," Raph added.
“I got it.”,Donnie says as he grabs his tech bo and turns on a flashlight.
Mikey looked around as he walked next to Donnie. The light showed the paintings on the hallways along with the lights on the wall. It was still a little creepy. They got to a staircase with a red carpet in the middle of it.
“That's a lot of stairs.”,Mikey says as he looks up at the spiral staircase.
“No kidding.”, Raph says.
“Donnie,Can I get a ride?”Leo asked as he turned to look at Donnie.
Donnie looked at Leo as he made a gesture to Leo’s sword.
“Oh right.”, Leo said as he grabbed his sword and made a portal.
Leo’s portal opened up with a flash of blue. The light blue hit all of their faces. Mikey walked in first then everybody else. They got to the top of the stairs and saw two torch lights by a big door.
“That’s his room.”, Donnie says
“Oh really,I couldn’t tell.”, Leo replies sarcastically.
Raph walked over to the door as he opened the door. Some dust came off the door which made Raph sneeze. He dusted his hands off as he peaked in. Donnie grabbed his tech bo and turned the flashlight back on.
It was dusty and dark. The room was mostly clean and tidy. An armor stand in the corner,old rugs,a big bed by the wall,a desk filled with different notes. Mikey walked around the room to try to find the lab notes.
The others looked around for a safe or something that Draxum may have locked his notes into. So far they couldn't find anything. Leo walked to some shelves and grabbed some books as he glanced through them,Donnie looked through the desk drawers,and Raph was looking under the bed.
Mikey opened the closet. He grabbed a box as he placed it on the ground. Raph looked up at Mikey.
“Whatcha got there?”, Raph asked as he walked over.
“I don’t know.”, Mikey replies.
Mikey opened the box and he pulled out an old dusty photo frame. The photo was of a small Draxum with curls in his maroon colored hair. He looked around 10 years old. There was an older boy that looked around 16 and another boy that looked almost identical to Draxum. Mikey and Raph looked shocked.
“Is that Draxum?”Raph asked, shocked.
“Wait what?”, Leo asked as he walked over.
Donnie walked over as he grabbed the photo and his goggles fell over his eyes as he scanned the photo and the picture frame.
“There is no way that’s Draxum.”, Raph says.
“Yea where's all of the grumpiness and hatred for humans?”, Leo asked.
“Aww,He looks so cute and doesn’t have a hatred for humans yet.”, Mikey says as he looks at the photo.
“No idea who the other two are.”, Donnie says “, Haven’t fought them before or they’re dead.”
“Maybe they are his family”, Mikey says.
Leo looked at Mikey.
“Yea i can see that.”, Leo says as he looked at the picture.
“That one was probably his older brother.”, Raph says as he pointed to the older boy.
Donnie bent down and started looking through the box. He grabbed an old journal and glimpsed through some of the pages. The entries were dated over multiple decades ago. How old was Draxum again? How long do Yokai even live?
“Uh figured one out. The older one is named Kilno Draxum.”,Donnie says.
“Kill no…?”, Raph asked.
“He doesn’t look that much like a Kilno.”,Mikey replies.
“And Draxum looks like a Baron?”
“Fair enough.”
Donnie held the journal in his tech bo as it flipped through some pages. Raph went through the box and grabbed a type of crystal shard. They looked at the shard in shared confusion.
“How many uses do these mystic crystals have?”, Leo asked.
Raph tapped the smooth flat surface of the crystal. It started to glow a light pinkish purple color. The turtles all looked confused. Donnie grabbed it from Raph and looked at it.
“Maybe it’s draxum’s old phone.”,Donnie says in an attempt of humor.
“And maybe that’s a way to contact his brothers!”, Raph says as he gets up.
Leo looked at Raph as he crossed his arms.
“Are we sure we want to do that? What if they are just as bad as Draxum was?” Leo asked as he looked at them.
“This is one of the only times I will ever say this but Leo has a point.”, Donnie says as he looked at the shard as its glow died down.
Mikey and Raph looked at each other then at Donnie and Leo.
“They are our uncles guys,We should give them a chance.”, Mikey says.
“Yea. If they are bad guys then we kick them back into the hidden city with their tails between their legs”, Raph agreed and added on to mikey.
Leo sighed and then smiled as he grabbed the shard. Donnie walked over to them as well.
“Then lets set up a family reunion for Draxum.”,Leo says “,It sounds weird to say that about Draxum.”
Donnie nodded as they kept the journal in his tech bo. They touched the shard again to turn the glow on again as a yokai appeared in the flat and smooth surface of the crystal shard.
“Who are you?”, He asked.
