Summary
In the months following Aymar, Voyne, Treila, and Phosyne sort out what the dynamic between the three of them is. They are all living together in a cottage that belongs to Voyne.
Treila is struggling to readjust to society life, the strain of peace after years struggling. She's a little jealous of how Phosyne and Voyne interact, but understands. It's just that Phosyne looks so content leaning on Voyne's shoulder, and Treila also has perfectly good shoulders.
Phosyne isn't sure if she was supposed to move in or if Voyne expects her to leave. She also isn't sure if Voyne makes eye contact with her while she kisses Treila's neck on purpose. It feels intentional.
Treila and Voyne belong to each other in the way that they are lovers. Voyne and Phosyne belong to each other in a way that is upheld in the cosmic civil courts of reality. Voyne is power that is meant to wielded and Treila is meant to wield power. A fearsome duo to any foe but ultimately it's Phosyne who balances them. Voyne is aware of all this and enjoying watching her girls find their footing together. She kind of hopes they kiss. -
