Summary
It is a seemingly simple question poised to him as an assignment in the first grade that sends Kuroo's otherwise ordinary life into a downwards spiral. He does not think much of it at first, another easy task to complete before the end of the school day, but as his eyes take in the question in front of him he realizes that it might just be the first question he doesn't have an answer to.
"What do you treasure?" It asks, and it is only when, years later when he is at the risk of losing the most important thing in his life, that he realizes that his answer might just have been in front of him all along.
