“Hey!”
A voice exclaimed as his shoulder collided with Stardust’s. They looked up to apologise, about to rattle off any old excuse and just praying it wasn’t anyone that would recognise Cody.
Their prayers would immediately be diminished. They froze as their dark eyes met the man who was clearly about to walk away, his bandaged hands brushing off his suit jacket. He groaned, snapping his head up.
“Watch where you’re goi-“ He cut himself off as the words seemed to become trapped in his throat, eyes widening to an almost horrifying degree. The two stood, sharing equally terrified stares as they both tried to make sense of what was standing in front of them
Stardust knew right away who it was, it was difficult not to. That was Cody Rhodes. The cold blue eyes, the freckles, the features that they saw whenever they looked upon their own reflection. Who else could it possibly be?
