“Why weren’t you in bed, spark?”
“I didn’t want to wake you up. You looked like you needed the rest.”
“Nonsense.” Volt tilts his head and grins. “I can think of no less than a dozen ways that I would have loved for you to have woken me up this morning.”
Eddie’s brows raise high on his forehead. “I’ll… keep that in mind.” His fingers fidget where he still has them wrapped in Volt’s clothes. After thinking it over for a minute, he pulls his hands back to his own chest. “I was also keeping in mind… the bet.”
“The bet? …You were serious?”
“Weren’t you?” Eddie asks.
A nervous look passes over Volt’s face. He takes another step back and pushes both of his hands up and through his electric hair. He sighs. “Why don’t we fix the power and then talk about it?”

Or, the morning after the events of Shocking Garters, Eddie brings up how Volt said he didn't think Eddie could keep his hands off of Volt for a week. Only time will tell if they can make it through, or if they deeply regret their decision.
