Work Text:

Craig hummed as he tidied up in the kitchen, the sound of the clock going tick-tock, tick-tock but a white-noise that he had tuned out. Tweek was sitting an exam at College today, and Craig decided that he deserved the night of his life- pampering, spoiling, touches, stolen kisses, everything and more ... So here he was, finishing up his meal before moving onto cleaning the dirty pans, pots and whatever else he used to make the meal. It was his mom's recipe for Aji De Gallina, Arroz con Pato and some Peruvian styled Adobo. The kitchen smelt like a 5 star restaurant, except much smaller and less extravagant. But did that really matter in the grand scheme of things? No. It was enough that Tweek was there, infact, more than enough.

Craig smiled softly as he reminisced on all the times he had with Tweek. All the hardships that were mended, the storms they passed through together, the laughs and smiles and cuddles and words of affection. How was Craig Tucker, the black sheep of the family, the troublemaker all throughout his school life, so lucky to have landed with someone as angelic and beautiful as Tweek Tweak?

The thoughts sat in his mind for a while, to a point he didn't even realise the door opening. A clearing of the throat was his callback to reality. Craig perked up and turned around, seeing Tweek- His Tweek- standing there with a warm grin. Instantly, his mood lifted exponentially and he hurried over to sweep Tweek up into his arms. Craig spun them a bit and then lowered Tweek, holding him close and giving him a peck on the forehead whilst savoring the warmth of Tweeks skin on his. "Hey, baby." He murmured, a goofy grin plastered on his face. "How was your exam?"

"Mmh, it was.. Argh- Okay." Tweek replied, looking up at Craig with those adorable green-hazel coloured eyes and toothy grin that made Craig just want to melt into a flustered puddle on the floor. Tweek found his silence comforting and continued on, "Tiring, exhausting, buuut..." He trailed off, his sensitive nose somehow just picking up on the homey, exotic smell of freshly cooked food.

"Whats that?" He questioned, leaning to the side to take a peek around Craig.

Craig flushed a bit, how had he forgotten the most monumental moment of this night? The one he'd spent a few hours prepared! "Oh, right! Uh, I knew you would be stressed.." He started off, lacing his and Tweeks fingers today before leading him over towards the prepared food on the counter. "So I made a feast fit for a king! Well, for two college students. Us."

Tweek snickered at that, twitching slightly, before squeezing Craigs hand. "Craig, you- Hh.. Didn't need to!" He exclaimed, a sweet, touched expression replacing the once frowning and tense one.

"I didn't. I wasn't obligated to, you are right- But I wanted to." Craig simply said, before leading Tweek over towards the counter with a plate and some cutlery set out. Emboldened by Tweeks positive reaction, he dramatically dipped low and moved the chair out the way, "Princes first." He stated with a soft chuckle at the end. Tweek, just as dramatically, touched his hand to his chest,  "Oh, why thank you, Sir Craig! You are too kind- hh.. Kind!" He exclaimed, before sitting down.

Craig let out an amused chuckle, sitting next to him with a gentle smile on his face. "I made you some of my mom's recipes. They, uh, they're a bit spicy though, so-"

"Craig Tucker! I can handle my spices!" Tweek laughed out, flicking Craig on the head, who in return just winced before letting out a wry chuckle.

"... They're a bit more than what you're used to."

Tweek just rolled his eyes and began eating anyway, it was great, actually. The taste was tangy, smokey, all the above, then it hit him. The SPICE.

He spluttered and coughed, hitting his chest as his face turned an odd shade of red. He grabbed the water Craig had oh-so-thoughtfully left out for him and downed him, "JESUS CHRIST, MAN!" He bellowed, before turning to Craig who, very expectedly, was stifling a chuckle.

Tweek glared at him, "Don't you fuckin' laugh at m-me, man!" He choked out, his face scrunched up in that god adorable pout and frown that blended simultaneously to make an expression that only Tweek Tweak could pull off. It made Craig's heart melt, how did he get so lucky?

"Sorry, sorry, I'm sorry, Baby." Craig let out another chuckle, shoulders shaking with the struggle of holding back his laughs. "I warned you, though." He hummed, moving his hand to wipe a bit of food off of Tweeks lip. "I said it was spicy, but nooo, big Tweek Tweak didn't want to listen."

The two sat in silence for a second, then Tweek began to laugh, this melodic and warm laugh that made Craig's cheeks flush and his eyes sparkle with adoration. Tweek was like an angel was his laughed, perfect in every way. Even if he twitched and made small disgruntled noises, or woke up from nightmares and couldn't sleep without Craig wrapped around him, or his paranoia that seemed to infest his mind every single day– He was perfect. Flawed, but perfect.

And he was Craig's (metaphorically speaking).

Finally, after god knows how long, they dug into the now cold food, both of them talking about their day. Craig had learnt that Tweek's exam was way easier than what he put on, and Craig had reassured him that he was more than good enough for it, that he'd pass with flying colours– And even if he didn't, he still gave it his all.

Once that was done, Craig and Tweek had the time of their life doing dishes. Crazy, right? Dishes. A thing Craig hated because of the sensory input, but somehow, with Tweek, it was lighter. Less demanding, natural, he didn't even worry about the wet food grazing his fingers, or the scraping of plates against cutlery. His eyes were on Tweek. The way his hair bounced whenever he spoke animatedly, the way his green-hazelish eyes fluttered when they blinked, the way his lips curved in that beautiful smile, the way his toothy grin showed whenever he laughed, or even the way his freckles looked like constellations.

Craig could stare forever, could be smothered in all of Tweeks perfections and flaws and come out grinning.

ANYWHO, after that, they had gotten in the shower, together of course. Craig had peppered kisses all along Tweeks face, collarbone and neck, which made Tweek laugh and whack him a few times. And finally, they ended up curling up on the couch together, a blanket laid ontop of them. Craig flicked through channels as Tweek laid his head on his chest, listening to his heart bear, tapping his fingers against Craigs side to the rhythmic beat. He yawned, the sound filling the otherwise quiet air. Craig looked down at him and smiled. "What do you want to watch?"

"Mm.. I don't know." Tweek murmured, looking back up st Craig with an expectant smile, eyes sparkling with pure affection. "Something not too exciting. I-I just.." He gave a twitch, before stilling. "Want to spend time with y-you."

Craig just smiled brighter at that, grinning at that point. He tucked some of Tweeks unruly hair behind his ear, fingers lingering against his skin. "We don't have to watch anything. We can just.. Talk?"

"I-I'd like that, too. I like talking with you."

Craig was not a man of words. He preferred physical affection, gift-giving and quality time. But for Tweek? He'd become the next Shakespeare. The next bestselling author.

"I like talking with you too." He replied, fingers threading through Tweeks hair, nails scritching against his scalp softly.
