Once upon a time, there was a witch. A wicked witch. The wickedest witch of them all. Her name was Mombi and she was the Wicked Queen of the Witches. The only thing she feared was death itself. It gnawed at her soul, no matter how much power she got, death was always in her future. Using the darkest magic she could muster, Mombi peaked into her future to see what form death would take for her. She saw a young princess from the Oz family line slaying her. Mombi then gathered her army and made her way across the blank desert to the Land of Oz for King and Queen were in fact expecting a child. Her army burned across the land, spreading death and terror was they went. They came to the center of the land, the capital, Emerald City. The demons and monsters who served her broke through the city walls. The king rode out to face her, Mombi slew him. And after she tore down the royal castle, where the Queen was in labor. All hope was lost. Then came the wizard.
