   It was supposed to be a day trip. Just a short one that Kiryu could handle, that he felt good about being able to do now that he was starting to look and feel like his old self again. He’d drive out to the fishing shack up north, help Majima pack up a few forgotten belongings, load the truck, and head back to civilization.

   Neither of them were prepared for a surprise snowstorm to hit and force them to shelter in the shack until it passed. But at least Majima had some ideas for how to keep warm.
