“A-Are you sure about this?! This doesn't look very safe.” You whimpered softly, wrapping your arms around Hiro's waist tightly, burying your face into the back of his shoulder blades anxiously. You had never ridden a motorcycle before, and it always made you nervous when Hiro got ready to ride home to his aunt's cafe. Of course, Hiro teased you nonstop about it, but he always promised to wear his helmet and always said he'd call you when he got to his destination. This made you feel a tad bit better, but the fear you felt never went away when you saw his figure ride off.
Hiro turned his head to look at you, a small smirk lighting his features as he revved up the engine to the motorcycle. His light brown eyes were glazed over with excitement, and the corner of his eyes crinkled as he let out a laugh. Even at the tender age of 24, Hiro still looked the same way he did when you two had first met at the age of 15. “C'mon (Name), you’re not that scared are you?” Hiro teased you, turning his head to look at you over his shoulder. You blushed softly and frowned at him, squeezing his waist a tad bit tighter. “Okay, I'll take it slow. Will that make you feel better?”
You continued giving him your look before you finally nodded and tightened the strap on your helmet. “Just please don't do anything reckless.” You warned him softly, placing your chin on his shoulder as he grumbled something. You squeezed him tightly as he pulled out of your drive way, heading off towards the center of the city. You smiled faintly and giggled to yourself when Hiro let out a groan at the slow pace. “Hiro, you can go faster than thirty-five miles per hour.”
Said boy looked up at you with a mischievous smile, his hand tightening on on the handles before he chuckled. You gave him a warning look, but it was too late, you let out scream as you two rocketed forward. Your grip tightened unbearably, almost squeezing him to death as you two weaved through traffic. You strangely felt alive, your heart picking up speed as you rounded a corner. You let a wide smile on your lips as your rocketed over the terrain, the bike skidding in front of the Lucky Cat Cafe as Hiro came to a stop. You laughed and gave your boyfriend a giant hug, mad at him for speeding, but overall you were just really happy.
Hiro blushed softly and pulled his helmet off, shaking his unruly hair as you gave him a peck on the cheek. You pulled your own helmet off and carried it in with you, waving at Aunt Cass when she called out to you. “Hey (Name)! How are you? I haven't seen you since Christmas, how ya liking the bath bombs I made?”
You gave her a smile and gave her a soft hug. Aunt Cass was probably your favorite person in the world, and man did she mean so much to you. “I use them every night, I was hoping you could make me some more!” You cheered when you pulled away, nudging Hiro. “Big toughy over here decided to use at least half of them.”
Hiro blushed softly and looked down at the floor embarrassed. “I-I did n-not!” He muttered, crossing his arms in a pout.

“You two be safe now!” Aunt Cass called as you and Hiro mounted the motorcycle, your arms instantly finding their way around Hiro's waist as his hands gripped the handles. “And use protection!” She finally screamed before shutting the cafe door, smirking when she noticed the bright red blush flashing across your cheeks.
Hiro blushed, ducking his head as he pulled away from the curve, going at a reasonable speed down the San Fransokyo streets. You watched the shops go by, a smile on your face as you turned your face to the sky and watched the stars. You had never felt this free before and man, it felt amazing. You turned your attention back to your surroundings when you stopped smiling at Hiro when he came to a stop at a red light. You pecked his cheek before nuzzling your face into the side of his neck, inhaling his intoxicating scent. You were always a little jealous that he hadn't changed that much since you first met, but you were kind of glad he didn't because you would have never seen the cute blush that would spread across his cheeks every time you gave him a kiss.
