“Oh! I’m sorry,” Junhyuk started to back out. “I didn’t mean to…”
“No, it’s okay. I’m sorry.” Why the hell was he apologizing? “I wasn’t… I just needed a minute.”
“Right.” Another shy smile with a hand through his hair that definitely wasn’t helping Seungmin keep his stirrings under control. “Me too. Though now it looks like I followed you here, which is weird and creepy.”
“No,” Seungmin shook his head, laughing, “not creepy. Kind of a compliment, really.”
They stared at each other with dopey grins for way longer than the socially accepted time to stare at someone with a dopey grin.
And for some reason, that smile, with the hair falling across his forehead, and his dark eyes softening, still holding this impossibly long gaze, emboldened Seungmin.
“If you did follow me here, what were you hoping to do once you found me?”
