“What is it with that Christmas trip?” Carlos asks a few hours later, when Jannik’s parents have left and they are cleaning up the kitchen.
“It is nothing special.” Jannik mumbles and stocks the dirty plates into the dishwasher.
Carlos crosses his arms in front of his chest. “You do not want me there.” He says.“What? No! That is not it” Jannik exclaims. But he does not meet Carlos’s eyes, which probably makes the other believe he is lying…
“What is it then?” Carlos asks and raises an eyebrow.
Jannik sighs and says: “My grandparents will be there.”
“So?” Carlos asks further, still not uncrossing his arms in front of his chest.Or: Jannik and Carlos try to go home for Jannik's family christmas dinner
