Chapter Text
A normal day... Wrong.
Xisuma was doing the usual session of overworking himself, his tired gaze wandering away from the screens infront of him as they twitch to light, practically begging for sleep.
Sleep. Sleep. SLEEP.
Hours go by, X now unconscious. Who knows how he dropped so suddenly? No one has asked, no one has even noticed. How? X is so social, so bubbly, so sweet, like a warm hot chocolate on a cold winter's day, and no ones noticed... oh.
Dreaming. Nightmares. SCREAM.
Awake.
Is he alert? Aware? No. It's all adrenaline. Xisuma ran, he ran and didn't stop. His life's on the line, why would he stop!? Out of his mineshaft, past Mumbo's place and around a hidden corner, how did he know that random location? It's nowhere on the map, non-existent to some. Xisuma came to a halt, his breath heavy and his heart pounding like an aggressive knock on the door. Like an invader, like something isn't right. A pit grew in X's stomach, the adrenaline now wearing off, instead turning into pure dread and nerves.
X scanned his surroundings, the stone walls echoed his every slight sound, every breath, sigh and hum. Long passage ways caught his eyes, they lead into multiple directions, some narrow, some not... How has he not found this sooner? With an exhale, a sense of safety filled Xisuma's mind. The dim lighting, the odd smell of vanilla in the air... his eyes began to close until the reoccurring question popped up- is someone here?
As X's eyes accidentally fluttered shut, he felt as though he was being watched, spied on, stalked? He didnt understand why, all he knew is his gut said something was wrong, very wrong.
Presence.
THUD. THUD. THUD.
(Cut the scene real quick, insert "Stellar Ascension" by Xisuma himself as the mysterious man approached)
They were dressed in red, blood, red. They decided to cover their face in a gas mask, similar to xisuma but matching their outfit better. Their eyes were black as if they were deep voids portraying the fate of those he faces. His hair as white as snow, like the purity of the innocent souls trapped underneath his wrath. It was none other than his younger brother, Evil X, or formerly known as "Xavier".
"Hello my good brother..." Evil X nearly whispered, his voice laced with mockery and sarcasm as per usual.
Xisuma groaned, far too exhausted to deal with his brother's crap if he was truthfully honest, why were they always there at the worst of times? A quick exhale later, he spoke.
"Just back off will ya? Jeez, I'm too exhausted to even bother looking at you for too long!" The Admin exclaimed, irritation and annoyance clear in his tone.
"Goodness my brother, seeming a little feisty today? I only want to make a trade! Please, do make yourself comfortable in my humble abode..."Evil X chuckled, the sinister intention making a show of itself.
The cave took a breath, closing in on X as it inhaled, engulfing the fear, worry and anxiety out of him. It fed, it starved, it craved. The more its stomach growled and complained, the more Xisuma shook, the more power hungry the "humble abode" got. Distant booms from thunder startled the voidwalker; it's not very common you can hear the extreme elements so closely in Hermitcraft.
"GAH!!"
"What? Can't even take a bit of thunder, Xisumavoid?" Evil X mocked,
"Gah!" He mimicked, a sprinkle of cruelty in his cursing voice.
Sigh. They're back at it again. Evil X will be Evil X as they say.
"Anyway, my deal, my little offer!" The Admin's brother exclaimed, suspicion lurked in the way he spoke.
Something wasn't adding up and X knew it. However, the question persisted, what was actually wrong? Is it all in his head?
