Summary
In the early hours of a Tuesday morning, the Metropolitan Police Department released a press conference. It confirmed two rumours: one, John Kramer was Jigsaw and two, he was dead. The Jigsaw murders that had rocked the city were done, they promised, despite multiple reports of accomplices and copycats. The city can finally heal, it’s finally over.
Two hours later, a faceless frequent commenter on a Jigsaw blog posted on his own page for the first time. He had previously been known among the community for heavily criticising local police proceedings and coining the term ‘Cult of Jigsaw’, used for those who can "appreciate John Kramer's message”. Despite being on the more radical side of the school of thought, he gained traction quickly. Overnight he amassed over 500 followers, Jigsaw survivors and self proclaimed followers alike. The user's name was JigsawSurvivor.
