“You’re not my dad, Tony.” Peter snapped, anger fully shadowing his face.
“I know I’m not,” Tony whispered just loud enough for Peter to hear, his shoulders slumped and heart beating miles and miles too quickly at the sting of his words.
“Then stop pretending to be!” Peter yelled. “Stop treating me like your kid that you want around when you’re in the mood for it! I don’t have a dad, but you were halfway there when you died on me too.”
