Work Text:

Dazai stared at Fyodor, not being able to hold back a chuckle: “I don’t think I ever saw you this convinced, Fyodor.” The other didn’t reply, he just stared. Fyodor had called Dazai to have ‘fun’, what was fun between the two was most of the time on the border between crime and war crime. “Come on! Say something!”, Dazai whined, “shut up,” Fyodor hissed back in reply, “they will arrive soon.”

Around five minutes later, a black car stopped in front of them. Fyodor started walking towards it and Dazai followed. Nikolai was sitting in the driver seat, Sigma next to him. Dazai and Fyodor sat in the back. It seemed like everyone was aware of their plan, except for Sigma. He continuously loaded Nikolai with questions, with no answer. They started driving, Dazai must admit, Nikolai is the last person he would have chosen as a driver. He kept speeding and Sigma was holding on to dear life.

“What stupid plan did you guys come up with this time?”, "Stupid? Don’t worry, Sigma. This is the best plan ever.”, Dazai finally answered. Fyodor added, “We will get rid of an AI center.” Nikolai giggled, making another incredibly dangerous turn: “Fedya thinks AI is proof of how disgusting and lazy people are.”

Sigma didn’t say more, it’s not like he could change anything from the situation he was in. Simply because how dependent he was on Fyodor. “Why are you in the US tho? Don’t you have to work, Dazai?” Nikolai questioned. “I have a mission here and coincidentally Fyodor ran into me at the airport.”, Dazai answered. Everyone knew this wasn’t a coincidence.

Finally, the car came to a halt. Taking out all the things they would need, they got out of the car. “Nikolai, we can get in with your ability, right?.”, Dazai pointed out. Nikolai replied with a bright grin: "Absolutely!" Sigma still seemed unsure, no matter how much he tried, he could never understand those three.

Without much haze they got inside, each one of them holding a crowbar. “What now?” Sigma asked. “I thought you’d be smarter, Sigma! You have to destroy it all!”, Dazai mocked. This plan was so stupid, they would get caught for sure. That didn’t seem to hold any of them. Soon Nikolai started swinging his crowbar at the computers, sounds escaping from them that made Sigma flinch. “Be careful idiot!” Sigma shouted at Nikolai.

Dazai and Fyodor were already gone, now standing alone with Nikolai he took his time to stare at the computers. They were huge. He didn’t want to break anything though. He would get in trouble anyways, but he never had interest in the topic of AI, so he couldn’t know the issue with it.

“You know,” Sigma flinched, not expecting Nikolai to be behind him, “AI makes you useless. Your casino, everything you do can be copied by it. You can refuse, but you are the one suffering most from the four of us.” Sigma frowned, “What are you talking about?” Nikolai walked next to him, “I expected you to be more up to date. Well, AI studies how humans act. They feed it by stealing art. AI proves how disgusting humans can be. It removes all purpose we hold, as I remember, isn’t that your goal, Sigma? To find a home, somewhere you belong? Well, AI will replace any chance of that. Even the things you read. Did you know? AI takes art from aspiring artists and makes them worthless. Even the things you read. Do you want to live like this?”

"What? No!”, Sigma barked. “Then go ahead.", Nikolai grinned. Sigma couldn’t tell if he just was manipulated but he must admit, the first swing of the crowbar felt amazing. There were alarms ringing and sirens from the police were getting closer. Dazai and Fyodor walked towards the two, pouring gasoline on the floor. “We should leave now.”, Fyodor admitted. And they did.

Fyodor lit a match, throwing it to the floor. Nikolai used his ability to get them out of there. The center burned down. Well, there were many more left
