Summary
When Hyrule's King dies and plunges the realm into turmoil, Princess Zelda does not flee. She hatches a plot to transform mercy into menace and intimacy into weaponry, conspiring with the one man she's supposed to fear above all else.
Stripped of her crown and remade as Ganondorf’s Royal Consort, Zelda engineers a far more dangerous survival: she turns herself into the kingdom’s most convincing lie. As rebellion stirs beyond the borders and threatens the stability of a conquered realm, Zelda proposes a brutal solution that will make Hyrule's enemies fear its new king too much to rise against him.
What follows is a carefully staged spectacle of power, sacrifice, and mythmaking, played out before the eyes of the court. Publicly, Ganondorf is the monster history demands. Privately, he and Zelda rule together in the shadows, bound by strategy, desire, and a shared willingness to damn themselves for the sake of the kingdom.
