On days when the summer sun was particularly harsh and his sweat ran down his back like a shower of rain, Izuku missed the boy that he was, and like a stray thought that persisted no matter how much he pushed it away, he missed him, too. Though a lot has already slipped from his memories, he couldn't bring himself to forget those piercing red eyes, bright against the white of the snow, and those hands clasped with his that always felt warm no matter how cold the evenings became.
