There's a loud knocking on Jungkook's door. The boy himself is watching a movie, and he pauses it to open the door.
There, in the doorway is a trembling Jimin, his lip is split, and his jaw purple. His eye is swollen and his hair looks like a rat's nest. He is visibly limping into the apartment, and his hands are shaking.
"What happened?! Tell me!" A frantic Jungkook is searching his face for more scratches.
"I was attacked in the hallway at school" His voice was weak but the younger understood every word.
"Who did it."
"What?"
"I said, who did it. Tell me."
"I don't really remember, but he was tall and muscly, he had this yellowish hair I guess."
"Choi Joo Won. Jimin, wait here. I'm gonna go get an icepack and some painkillers."
When he comes back with the medicine and ice, and then heads out the door.
"Where are you going?" The older asks.
"Out. Stay here."
Before Jimin can respond Jungkook is already out the door, making his way to the alleyway he knows is frequently occupied by Joowon and his cronies.
"Hey Jungkook, haven't seen you here in a while."
He just ignores all the greeting and walks straight up to the man himself and punches him square in the jaw. Joowon steps back a bit and raises his hand to his now split lip and bruised jaw. Right when he isn't expecting it, Jungkook gets a painful kick in the side. When he comes back to deliver the next punch, it hits Joowon in the eye, and while he's stumbling, Jungkook kicks him in the knee. Joowon is on the ground now, clutching it in pain.
"That's for messing with my Jimin. Park Jimin, remember the name. You hurt him, I hurt you."
And then he walks off, rubbing his bloody knuckles against his sweatshirt. When he gets home, he walks straight to the couch where Jimin is still sitting, resting the ice pack on his face. His leg is laying on a pillow on the coffee table, and Jungkook thinks he might be asleep. He leans down and kisses his forehead and cute cheeks anyways.
He takes off his boots and washes his hands of any blood before making some alphabet soup for his boyfriend, Park Jimin.
