Percy had only had eggnog a few times, always store-bought, but when Alfred had offered some of his homemade stuff.
Percy had nodded, agreeing quietly to have some eggnog.
Alfred smiled politely and left to grab some for Percy.
When he came back, he carried two mugs of eggnog, setting one in front of Percy and taking one for himself.
They sat in silence, Percy taking a sip of the eggnog. It tasted a lot better homemade than it did from just a store, but Percy knew better than to say something like that to Alfred. Instead, Percy just politely thanked him for the eggnog as Alfred took his empty mug and took them to the kitchen before joining Percy back in the library, sitting in silence again.
It was peaceful and nice.
