    For most, Christmas was the time of the year for spending with your family.

    For Rudolf, it was a concept she understood, courtesy of movies, the stories of others, and her duty as Student Council President. Yes, she knew what Christmas was supposed to be. She knew to dress up festive, to deck herself out in a silly outfit that would make a few people laugh. She knew to encourage relaxation, to set up parties for the students that would, once a year, provide them with a warm pocket in time where they could just celebrate.

    She knew what made people love Christmas.

    She did not know, however, how to love it herself.
