Hello everyone and welcome to a project I've had in my mind for a while.
I've always found it annoying how Redtail dies literally in the third chapter of the first book of the entire series, so here is my take on how the story would go if that didn't happen. Be aware, though, that this is my first time ever writing a fanfic, so it's not gonna be perfect, and I haven't read the original books in a while, so there may be a few continuity errors, or mischaracterizations of specific characters.
I won't go too deep in details of certain events, instead I'll focus more on how they change, so don't be surprised if I suddenly skip major events like Yellowfang’s introduction, or Cinderpaw becoming Fireheart’s apprentice. I just think that if someone is reading this they already know the events that happened normally, therefore don't need a lot of focus.
This story will be divided into 2 books, the first adapting Into the Wild to Forest of Secrets, and the next finishes the first arc. I'm not so sure about the other arcs though, even if I have a lot planned for them, specifically Power of Three.
If you chose to ignore the tags there are a few Headcannons that will be prominent in this series such as:
TransRedtail (FtM)
Redtail x Whitestorm (Sandstorm is their daughter)
Talljake
RavenBarley (although it's already practically cannon nowadays it'll be more explicit here)
