Summary
Rusty keeps having dreams. Dreams about hunting and fighting, but mostly about cats. Cats he's never met, who he can never remember properly upon waking up, but who feel as real and important as anything else in his life. He's willing to do whatever it takes to figure out what these dreams mean, even if it means abandoning his old life for a new one in the wild.

Summary
Tigerstar's reign over ThunderClan ends abruptly in his exile when the truth of Redtail's death is revealed. By the Warrior Code, Longtail is the successor to a broken and hostile clan.
Life in the forest will never be the same again. The clans' greatest threats still lurk in the wild. ThunderClan cannot bring itself to trust Longtail -- and he's not even sure he can trust himself. But when all hope seems to be lost, Longtail looks to the promises of Bluestar and StarClan to find a new path in old friends and old foes alike.

In the midst of this turmoil appears an ordinary working cat named Rusty... who may turn out to be the bravest pilot of them all.---
A sci-fi retelling of the Warrior Cats series. A very simple beat-for-beat retelling but with all the characters as an anthro species of cat living in a futuristic space setting. Plot rewriting will be minimal.
Updates by chapter as I find time. This is a project for myself while I recover from surgery.

“I’ll be delusional— I’ll be anything. Everybody in the world can call me crazy and stupid and I’ll still accept it. I’ll accept everything, if that let me see you again in the morning when I wake up.”

After Brokenstar, a Ruthless Tyrannical Leader, comes to power in Shadowclan, A Section of their clan breaks off, forming a new clan and settling in the uninhabited and contested forest, disrupting the balance of power.

The gentle murmurs weren't enough to drown out the blood that roared in his ears as he stared into the boaring eyes of him.
Images of blood gushing out of the bone hill flashed, and another image flashed again, this time being when he had killed Redtail. The way he would glare with nothing but malice and the pure hunger to kill deeply haunted him, and it was only then that he realized that Fireheart was trying to snap him out of the trance.
