   Summary

   Five years ago, Isagi—freshly transferred to Bastard München, a stranger to Munich, the crowds, and its winters—had steeled himself to make the suggestion: decorate his Christmas tree together.
   A suggestion that Kaiser had declined, bitter and resentful.
