   Summary

   Two years after the final battle in Hawkins, the war is over but nothing will ever be the same anymore.

   Mike Wheeler watched Will Byers disappear into the Upside Down, locked away alone with Vecna for eternity. The way Will looked at him in those final moments, his big scared trembling eyes, soft with love and sorrow, already accepting his fate. He stayed behind so Eleven could live, so Mike could live, so everyone could be saved. Joyce Byers couldn’t. Grief took her life, leaving Jonathan hollow and bitter, a ghost forced to keep breathing.
